The scientists have gathered a crop of biomaterial: excrements of white bears, their wool, and many other things. The samples will be analyzed by investigators in the Institute of Ecology and Evolution and based on the results of analysis conclusions on the state of these animals will be drawn. Also, the researchers will track the wandering of four female bears which were marked by neck straps with satellite transmitters. Such an approach will allow for the better understanding impact of human activity and climate warming on the population of white bears at the territory of the national park.
