«The new English language resource will familiarise visitors with the Arctic using various visualisation methods — computer animation, 3D tours, information graphics and other tools. The users will be able to learn about the climate changes that occur in the northern macroregion, what are their impacts on humans, what studies scientists conduct to understand and predict these processes,» said the message. The project is planned to be launched in 2019.

The author of the idea and the project leader was Terry Callaghan — Nobel laureate, professor at TSU and Sheffield University, one of the world’s most famous researchers of the Arctic.
