An algorithm has been created in Ufa to develop ultrahigh-speed electric motors
Researchers at the Ufa State Aviation Technical University (USATU) have developed an algorithm that allows creating electric motors that make more than a million revolutions per minute. They are useful for improving the accuracy of processing metals, plastics and composites, as well as for the creation of miniature medical instruments and machines for the production of microelectronics. The algorithm has already been tested experimentally on a small test engine.
The authors of the new work proposed for the first time in the world an algorithm for the design of electrical mechanisms, which simultaneously takes into account thermal, electromagnetic and mechanical effects for ultrahigh-speed electric motors with a rotation speed of up to 1,200,000 rpm (20,000 revolutions per second).
