The scientists believe that with the help of their developments it will be possible to create an information computer system that will predict amount of traffic on the roads of Vladivostok. It will be capable, and in real time at that, of taking into account accidents, traffic blockages, weather conditions, and traffic jams and will offer operational scenarios for solving emerging traffic problems. Moreover, the system will be able to provide an objective assessment of economic, environmental, and social effects of various transport projects.
