«Laboratory» will take place to mark the 20th anniversary celebrations of the launch of ISS

Organisers of the international event «Open Laboratory» for scientific literacy plan to hold a separate space and astronautics themed multilingual event in November to mark the 20th anniversary of the launch of the International Space Station (ISS).

The «Laboratory», which will take place on November 20, will be dedicated to space, astronautics, space technology, astronomy and astrophysics.

«Open Laboratory», an international scientific literacy testing event, will take place on February 10 for the second time. The first one took place on April 22, 2017 in 35 Russian cities, as well as in China and Kazakhstan, with about 15 thousand people participating. Leading Russian scientists played roles of heads of laboratories («zavlaby») at the sites of the event and conducted a test for the scientific world-picture for the attendees. Scientific shows, excursions to real laboratories, master classes, popular science films, book presentations and other events were available after the test.
