Chronic social stress significantly inhibits immune system

Scientists at the Institute of Cytology and Genetics of the Siberian Branch of the Russian Academy of Sciences (SB RAS) and the Institute of Clinical and Experimental Lymphology of the SB of the Russian Academy of Medical Sciences have proved that chronic social stress negatively affects the body: reduces immune defence and could even lead to the development of cancer.
