"Biologists of the Working Group on Anseriformes of Northern Eurasia continue the study of the migration routes of rare Arctic birds. The scientists ringed nine small swans on Levdiyev Island in the Priuralsky district; three birds had a brood. With the coming of autumn they left for wintering grounds; the signals show that the birds are flying straight to the south," the statement said.
