«We have been investigating the impact of the methane emissions on the methane content in the atmosphere, we dedicated quite a lot of time to the task during the expedition, the equipment for monitoring the methane content in the atmosphere was constantly active. We may now say that the matter could be considered closed after the expedition, because while methane inflow, of course, exists, but it means an increase of just 10% compared with the background that is already present in the Arctic,» Flint said.
