Russian scientists will develop innovative devices for diagnostics of human organs

Scientists at Ural Federal University (UrFU) together with colleagues from Moscow and Novosibirsk have received a grant to develop innovative devices for the diagnostics of internal organs of a human patient and assessment of their psychophysiological state. The main differences between the devices in question and existing counterparts are in that the former will offer increased security and more information, the press service of the university informed.

«The Russian Foundation for Basic Research (RFBR) supported the new scientific project involving scientists from UrFU, the Kotelnikov Institute of Radio-engineering and Electronics and the Institute of Applied Physics (both are of the Russian Academy of Sciences), the State Research Institute of Physiology & Basic Medicine of the Siberian Branch of the Russian Academy of Sciences, and the A.I. Yevdokimov Moscow State University of Medicine and Dentistry. Their task this year will be to develop devices which would be used to conduct experimental studies aimed at diagnostics of human organs, including cerebrum and its condition,» the press service explained.
