«We have prepared a program up to 2022 which implies that research and investigation and industrial ships will every year held deep-sea shooting in various parts of Far-East seas. For example, in Okhotskoe Sea, such investigations have not been realized in last thirty years, while in the region of Kurilsky Islands, South-East Kamchatka, and Chukotskoe Sea — in last ten years,» - Akulin commented.

The profound study of the depths of Far-East Seas is connected with the fact that for the first time in a long period the supply of Alaska pollock which is the main harvesting fish has been reduced. Consequently, researchers and fishers are interested in the output of bioresources inhabiting the depth of more than two kilometers.
