Krasnoyarsk scientists will study composition of greenhouse gases in the Arctic atmosphere

Scientists from Krasnoyarsk Scientific Centre of the Siberian Branch of the Russian Academy of Sciences intend to establish a research station in the north of the Krasnoyarsk Territory in order to determine whether one of the largest Russian regions is a source of greenhouse gases or its territory contributes to the fight against it, said Alexey Panov, the project manager and a senior researcher at the Laboratory of the Biogeochemical Cycles in Forest Ecosystems at the Scientific Centre.
