Ceramic crockery of IV century BC found on the site of the future Crimean bridge
Artefacts were transferred to the East Crimean Historical and Cultural Museum-Preserve in Kerch, the «Crimean Bridge» Information Centre reported on Friday.
Russian archaeologists are conducting research on the territory where the railway approach to the bridge across the Kerch Strait on the Crimean side will be consructed. Mounds (grave hills), as well as remains of ancient fortifications and settlements of different cultures, from the Bronze Age to the XIX century, are being studied. The next section is always available for the builders only after scientists have completed the studies there.
