Rostec created a Centre for the Development of Artificial Intelligence Technologies in Voronezh

Concern 'Sozvezdie' (Russian for 'Constellation', a part of the holding 'Russian Electronics' of the state corporation 'Rostec') and Voronezh State University (VSU) have opened the Center for the Development of Artificial Intelligence Technologies. The Centre will engage in machine learning, big data analysis, and information processing technologies, the press service of the state corporation informed.

The Centre has become a structural subdivision of the Voronezh State University and is based at the Faculty of Computer Sciences, the Faculty of Mathematics, and the Faculty of Applied Mathematics, Informatics and Mechanics.

Only a limited number of countries have domestic developments in this area. Our industry is following the trend and is among the leaders in this area. Cooperation of Rostec holdings with the largest Russian universities produce good results, among other tihngs,» Alexei Bocharov, the General Director of the concern 'Sozvezdie' is quoted by the press service as saying.
