«The earliest finding is dated to the end of the XVth or the beginning of the XVIth century. It is a commercial lead seal of one of the German principalities, it was used to mark the textile products that were brought to the city for sale from Western Europe. The latest one is also a lead seal for textile marking, it could be up to 150 years old,» Alexei Emelyanov, the head of the city Department of Cultural Heritage is quoted by the portal as saying.

Experts believe that in the XV-XVI centuries in this area, close to the site of former Zlatoust monastery, there was a booming trade in local and imported fabrics.
